This is first part of small ebook written by author Vaibhav Yadav. Story of scientist who created lethal robot and read to see if mistake was corrected by going back in time. Tell how do you like it and if you want to add more chapters and also tell your friends if you like it.

Prologue

The year is 2215.  The year the first reigning Machine is unleashed. The year where scientist Robert K. Flauster created what would lead the world of what we know now, to its knees.

Dr. Flauster sat in his laboratory with the invention that had taken him 50 years to build thus far on the work table in front of him. A life-sized robot built to fight in wars, which he thought would change the face of the military forever. In Flauster’s hand, was a large, flat, square-shaped battery. All he has to do is place the battery into the robot, and all his hard work will have been paid off. He slowly placed the battery into the slot where it belonged and clicked it into place. He anticipated the waking of his machine.

Nothing happened.

The doctor was disappointed and thought that nothing could have gone wrong; he had worked so hard to achieve perfection. As he turned away from the table to start over with another invention, he heard the whirring of machinery coming to life. He turned back to his work table and saw that the robot had sat up. Amazed, he reached out to touch the robot with his finger tips, but the robot retaliated and sprung off of the table. Dr. Flauster walked around the table in hopes to get up close with the now functioning robot, but it continued to avoid him repeatedly.

Flustered and now a bit angry, the doctor grabbed the robot’s arm to keep it still.

The robot struck Dr. Flauster to the ground and strangled him with its lethal hands of metal.

Getting up, the robot traveled around the large laboratory, taking in information about itself, its blueprints and what made it function.

For many years, the robot built more and more of its kind in the lab, powerful and ruthless devices that would soon take over all of mankind.

Generous Gwen

Kid moral storyGenerous Gwen
Gwen was a greedy five year – old. Her friends always asked if they can borrow her toys and she always said “No, no, no, get your mom to buy one for you!” Even when eating in the family table, she always wants every dish on the table to be put in her plate.

Gwen was such a greedy, little girl and her parents don’t know what to do.

One day, as she was playing, all alone in their family’s garden, an old woman suddenly appeared and asked if she could have Gwen’s apple – as she was so hungry already. The greedy Gwen did not give her apple but even threw little stones at the old lady. The lady was very hurt – and said “Gwen, you are a selfish girl and I will not allow you to be one, a good girl should always be loving and sharing and nice to their friends!”

The girl replied, “I don’t like friends! I don’t want to share! All this is mine, mine!”

The old lady was actually a good witch, and made herself be known. She shone like some white halo, and held with her a wooden thing – a wand.

“I am Glenn, one of witches of the White, where we take care of girls and boys who have bad behaviors. It has come to my attention that you are greedy and uncaring, and for that you will be taught you lesson. Every time someone asks you of something, that item will glue itself to you if you do not share. You will see the burden of having everything for yourself. You will only lose my spell, once you become generous,” Glenn, the witch said and swished her wand for some complicated spell work and vanished.

Gwen thought it was just a dream, and went on playing. That afternoon, when her cousins from the other city arrived to stay at their house for the weekend, they asked to play with her Barbie doll. Of course, greedy Gwen said “No, no. You play with your own Barbie doll!” and she stomped her feet and went outside.

She played for a while and when she was hungry, went inside to eat. Her cousins Bill and Mary saw her and laughed. She wondered why they were laughing, and shouted “You can’t ever have my doll, my tea house, my piano and balls! I don’t want to share them with you!” As she said those things, all of a sudden, she noticed that they were growing in her clothes. There was a doll, a tea house that was very heavy, a small piano and three balls attached to her and she cannot take it off.

She cried and cried until her mommy came to her. The mom gasped as she saw what happened to Gwen. She tried to take it off but to no avail. Gwen finally told her that a woman talked to her that morning while she was playing outside. The mother understood what happened, and allowed the good witch to make her lessons upon her daughter.

That night, when they were having dinner, Mary asked for more gravy for her potatoes, and greedy Gwen said, “You’ve had enough gravy! Those are mine!” and as soon as she said those, a cup of gravy was hanging glued to her shirt.

She felt the heaviness of her body and asked if she can go to sleep. The mom said yes, she can.

The next day, Gwen thought it was all going to be a bad dream, but she woke up the balls and the tea house and the doll and the gravy was still there! She was so mad! She went outside and saw that her Mom was playing with her cousins. They looked so happy and she suddenly felt jealous, her Mom never played with her because she doesn’t want her toys to be touched.

She saw how happy they were because they were sharing laughter’s and smiles – and they genuinely loved each other. She felt sad about all the lost moments she didn’t experience because she was so greedy.

She cried, and with the tears of remorse from being a greedy girl, the items suddenly vanished and the good witch appeared in front of her.

“Now, you understand how sad it is to be alone Gwen? When you do not share, the people you love will slowly be taken away from you by others who know how to love and give. You should have friends and share your toys so that everyone is happy. No good comes from being greedy, my child, “Glenn, the witch said.

Gwen nodded and hugged the witch and said thank you.

“I will never do it again. I want my mom to play with me and my cousins to teach me how to play my tea house! I am so sorry! It is such a heavy feeling to be alone!”

With that, the witch disappeared as she had come.

Gwen, who was a greedy girl, has learned her lessons. She is now Generous Gwen, who shares and loves her cousins and friends.
