In iOS 6, navigation through several menus was required to access various commonly used settings. Now the common settings can be traced quite easily making iOS more user friendly. Rotation Lock, Wi-Fi, Flashlight, Screen brightness, Bluetooth, iPod control, AirDrop, Airplane Mode, Clock, Calculator and some other basic features can be toggled more simply. Shortcuts to different apps are more easily managed than the previous versions by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.

Background updating of apps while running another app has enhanced the privilege for users.
